‘ I have been in the jewellery and fashion business for nearly 30 years and have worked with a great many other designers from young students to established professionals. I have also a life long love of historical jewellery thanks in part to my degree in Art History. So if you look at my pieces you will see that there is lot of historical referencing although they are very contemporary too. I believe in jewellery that is affordable and wearable so all my pieces are made in silver rather than gold and then plated in 22ct gold. I think jewellery should be of good quality and not fall apart so I make things to last but also to be worn and enjoyed.
All my stones are semi precious and the pearls are real – I love colour and think natural stones can be very flattering to the skin.’
